Terms & Conditions

1. This Liberty Vehicle Insurance Insure & Save Campaign (“Campaign”) is organised by U Mobile Services Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No.: 200401034375 (672884-H)) (“U Mobile Services”) which commences at 12:00a.m. on 16 October 2023 and ends at 11:59p.m. on 31 December 2023 (“Campaign Period”).
2. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).
3. Campaign Eligibility
   1. This Campaign is open to new and existing GoPayz customers with active GoPayz account (“Eligible Participant”). GoPayz accounts are active if the Eligible Participants are able to perform transactions via those GoPayz accounts.
   2. U Mobile Services reserves the right to reject any application by any Eligible Participant without assigning any reason.
4. Campaign Mechanics
   1. To participate in this Campaign, you must purchase either the Liberty car or motorcycle insurance plan (“Liberty Vehicle Insurance Plan”) underwritten by Liberty General Insurance Berhad (Registration No. 197801007153 (44191-P)) (“Liberty Insurance”) via your GoPayz account during the Campaign Period (“Opt-In”) by:
      1. selecting “Liberty Vehicle Insurance” under “Financial Services” tab in GoPayz;
      2. filling in the required information to receive a quote from Liberty Insurance for the selected Liberty Vehicle Insurance Plan; and
      3. proceeding to pay the premium for the selected Liberty Vehicle Insurance Plan via your GoPayz account.
         
         If you purchase the Liberty Vehicle Insurance Plan on behalf of a third party via your GoPayz account, you will be eligible but the insured third party will not be eligible to participate in this Campaign.
   2. 1. The Liberty Vehicle Insurance Plan is underwritten by Liberty Insurance and is subject to Liberty Insurance’s terms and conditions which can be found at:
         • https://www.libertyinsurance.com.my/images/pdf/lib/ezyplus-bundle-basic-private-car-policy-en.pdf; and
         • https://www.libertyinsurance.com.my/images/pdf/lib/motorcycle-comp-policy-en.pdf .
      2. U Mobile Services makes no representations nor warranties on the Liberty Vehicle Insurance Plan and disclaims all liability including negligence in connection with the subscription of the Liberty Vehicle Insurance Plan.
   3. The premium payable for the Liberty Vehicle Insurance Plan is based on the plan you select (“Premium”) and will be deducted from your GoPayz account.
5. Rewards
   1. The Eligible Participants shall be entitled to receive the rewards (“Rewards”) listed in the table below provided that the Eligible Participant has completed the steps in Clause 4:

6. General
   1. U Mobile Services may change any of these Terms and Conditions and may terminate, suspend this Campaign or extend the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on GoPayz’s mobile application and website. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on GoPayz’s mobile application or website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Campaign.
   2. By participating in the Campaign, all participants:
      1. consent for U Mobile Services to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign or processing your insurance application/proposal;
      2. consent for U Mobile Services to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile Services sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
      3. grant U Mobile Services the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
   3. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile Services and its related corporation (as defined under Companies Act 2016) (“Related Corporation”) excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign. All participants agree to release U Mobile Services and its Related Corporation from and indemnify U Mobile Services and its Related Corporation against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) or breach of any of these Terms and Conditions, whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.
   4. The subscription and use of GoPayz is subject to the GoPayz Service Agreement and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, GoPayz Service Agreement will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
   5. The Campaign and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all the disputes arising from this Campaign.
