1.
1.1. You can choose to purchase GoInsure Motor Insurance plan (“GoInsure Motor”) underwritten by Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad (“Chubb”) via GoPayz website or GoPayz mobile application (“GoPayz”) using your GoPayz account (“GoPayz Account”).
1.2. If you choose to buy GoInsure Motor using your GoPayz Account, you agree to these terms of use, the terms of the GoPayz Service Agreement, the GoPayz App and Web Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice which are made available at www.gopayz.com.my.
1.3. GoInsure Motor is subject to the terms of your agreement with Chubb and Chubb’s privacy policy which are made available on https://www.chubb.com/my-en/campaign/goinsure.aspx. U Mobile Services Sdn Bhd. Registration No. 200401034375 (672884-H) (“U Mobile Services”) makes no representations nor warranties on the GoInsure Motor.
2. Eligibility
GoInsure Motor is made available to GoPayz customers and any individual for whom the GoInsure Motor is purchased for via the GoPayz customers GoPayz Account (“Third Party”) subject to the terms and conditions provided in the GoInsure Motor policy wording at https://www.chubb.com/my-en/campaign/goinsure.aspx.
3. Registration and Usage
3.1. You will need to:
a. register for GoInsure Motor by following the steps provided on GoPayz; and
b. select either one of the following payment methods to pay for your GoInsure Motor premium:
i. via your GoPayz Account where you must ensure that there is sufficient balance in your GoPayz Account for the premium chargeable; or
ii. via your debit or credit card linked to your GoPayz Account subject to the terms and conditions imposed by your card issuer. If you chose to pay your premium via your debit or credit card, you must ensure that:
- the premium chargeable does not exceed your credit card limit, for credit cards; or
- you have sufficient balance in your debit card account to remit the premium chargeable.
We make no representation nor warranties on the payment made via your debit or credit card.
3.2. We may stop allowing you to purchase the GoInsure Motor using your GoPayz Account, for any reason whatsoever, with or without notice including if we suspect that there is fraudulent or unauthorized use or if our agreement with Chubb has been terminated or for any reason or for any operational reasons.
3.3. You will not be able to purchase the GoInsure Motor if your GoPayz Account is terminated or suspended for any reason. The existing GoInsure Motor which you have purchased for yourself or the Third Party via your GoPayz account will remain valid until the expiry date provided on the e-certificate.
3.4. Upon the termination or suspension of your GoPayz Account, you or Third Party, are required to contact Chubb directly on matters relating to the premium refund, if applicable.
3.5. GoInsure Motor is not under our control and we are not responsible for the underwriting, claim process and any dispute resolution under the GoInsure Motor. If you have any issues relating the following matters in relation to your GoInsure Motor, you may contact GoPayz Customer Careline at +6018-388 3388:
* purchasing; and
* premium payment.
3.6. If you have any other issues not listed in paragraph 3.5 above, you are required to contact Chubb directly for assistance via phone call to +6 03 2058 3198 or e-mail to goinsure.MY@chubb.com.
4. Charges and Payment
4.1. We do not set the insurance premium payable for GoInsure Motor. The insurance premiums are determined by Chubb.
4.2. When you purchase the GoInsure Motor via:
a. GoPayz Account, the premium payable will be deducted from your GoPayz Account;
b. your credit card linked to your GoPayz Account, the premium payable will be chargeable to you credit card; or
c. your debit card linked to your GoPayz Account, the premium payable will be deducted from your debit card account.
4.3. You will be able to purchase the GoInsure Motor as long as you have sufficient balance in your GoPayz Account or subject to the debit or credit card limit that has been linked to your GoPayz Account (if you elect to pay for your GoInsure Motor premium using your debit or credit card).
4.4. You are advised to take note of the premium due date as prescribed on the GoInsure Motor e-certificate and the termination option available at the time of the purchase of GoInsure Motor. You or the Third Party may terminate GoInsure Motor by giving Chubb prior written notice via email to goinsure.MY@chubb.com.
4.5. If you or the Third Party terminate the GoInsure Motor in accordance with GoInsure Motor’s policy wording, the refund will be provided to you or the Third Party by Chubb. U Mobile Services shall not be responsible for any refund provided by Chubb. You are required to contact Chubb directly for assistance via phone call to +6 03 2058 3198 or e-mail to goinsure.MY@chubb.com.
5. General
5.1. U Mobile Services may change any of these terms of use from time to time. Any such changes will be posted on GoPayz. It is your responsibility to check the terms of use.
5.2. By purchasing GoInsure Motor, you: -
a. consent for U Mobile Services or Chubb to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose your personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to GoInsure Motor;
b. agree that your personal information shall be used by Chubb for the purpose of processing GoInsure Motor application; and
c. acknowledge that U Mobile Services’ privacy notice at www.gopayz.com.my and Chubb’s privacy notice at https://www.chubb.com/my-en/campaign/goinsure.aspx apply on how U Mobile Services and Chubb use your personal information.
5.3. U Mobile Services does not own the copyright, trademarks, services marks or other marks of Chubb. These marks are owned and registered by their respective owners.
5.4. These terms of use are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from these terms of use.
