1. This RM5 For Cashless School Programme Campaign (“Campaign”) is organised by U Mobile Services Sdn. Bhd. (“U Mobile Services”) which commences at 12.00am on 1 July 2022 and ends at 11.59pm on 31st December 2022 (“Campaign Period”).
2. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms”) and shall be read together with the general terms and conditions as published at https://www.gopayz.com.my/en/support/terms-and-conditions.
3. Campaign Eligibility
a. This Campaign is open to all new GoPayz users who sign up for the GoPayz service during the Campaign Period and who are :
(i) Malaysian citizens;
(ii) permanent residents; or
(iii) foreigners with a valid passport and mailing address in Malaysia.
b. New GoPayz users aged between 6 to 17 years who sign up for the GoPayz service during the Campaign Period are also eligible to participate provided they have obtained their parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to participate in this Campaign.
The GoPayz users above are referred to as the “Eligible Participants”.
c. Any existing GoPayz customer who signs up for GoPayz service again with or without terminating the service prior to or during the Campaign Period shall not be eligible to participate in this Campaign.
d. U Mobile Services reserves the right to reject any application by any participant without assigning any reason.
4. Campaign Mechanics
To participate in this Campaign, Eligible Participants must perform the following transaction(“Transaction”) during Campaign Period:
a. download the GoPayz mobile application (“GoPayz App”);
b. apply the Campaign Code during sign up journey; and
c. upgrade to the GoPayz premium wallet successfully.
a. The following Eligible Participants who successfully fulfil the requirement of paragraph 4 above during the Campaign Period will be entitled to receive the following reward:
The first 10,000 Eligible Participants who successfully upgrades to Premium Wallet any time within the Campaign Period
RM5.00 will be credited into these Eligible Participant’s GoPayz account (“RM5 Reward”) upon successful upgrade to Premium Wallet. The RM5 Reward will only be credited once, per Eligible Participant, during the Campaign Period
b. To upgrade to the Premium Wallet, Eligible Participants must provide the relevant supporting documents and information for U Mobile Services’ verification. The verification process may take up to 2 business days for approval. U Mobile Services reserves the right to approve, reject your application for your upgrade at our discretion without assigning any reasons whatsoever, and our decision will be final. Please refer to the Product Disclosure Sheet for more information on the Premium Wallet and U Mobile Services verification process which is published at https://www.gopayz.com.my/en/support/terms-and-conditions/product-disclosure-sheet-pds1.
c. Eligible Participants must ensure that their GoPayz accounts are active at the point the RM5 Reward is credited. GoPayz accounts are active if the Eligible Participants can perform transactions via those GoPayz accounts.
d. The aggregate RM 5 Reward awarded is capped at RM50,000 throughout the Campaign Period based on first-come, first-serve basis.
e. The Campaign ceases once the aggregate RM 5 Reward has been fully exhausted or at the expiration of the Campaign Period, whichever comes first.
f. U Mobile Services reserves the right to replace or substitute the RM5 Reward with any other prize of similar value at any time as determined by U Mobile Services.
a. U Mobile Services may change any of these Terms and may terminate, suspend this Campaign or extend the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check these Terms on our website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Campaign.
b. By participating in the Campaign, all Eligible Participants: -
i. consent for U Mobile Services to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign;
ii. consent for U Mobile Services to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile Services sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
iii. grant U Mobile Services the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
c. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile Services excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign. All Eligible Participants and their parents or legal guardians (where applicable) agree to release U Mobile Services from and indemnify U Mobile Services against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) or breach of any of these Terms; whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.
d. The subscription and use of GoPayz is subject to the GoPayz Service Agreement and where applicable, these Terms. In the event of any inconsistency, GoPayz Service Agreement terms and conditions will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
e. The Campaign and these Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The Eligible Participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.
