Terms & Conditions

Dear customers, please be informed that U Mobile Services Sdn Bhd has revised the Terms & Conditions for the Sign Up & Get Rewards Campaign 2022. The revised Terms which are set out below will take effect from 12^th December 2022 and will supersede the previous Terms and Conditions dated 1^st November 2022. 

1. Sign up & Get Rewards Campaign (“Campaign”) is organized by U Mobile Services Sdn Bhd (Registration No.: 200401034375 (672884-H)) (“U Mobile”) which commences at 12.00am on 12 December 2022 and ends at 11.59pm on 14 February 2023 (“Campaign Period”).

2. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms”) read together with the general terms and conditions as published at https://www.gopayz.com.my/en/support/terms-and-conditions.

3. Campaign Eligibility

a. This Campaign is open to all new GoPayz users who sign up for the GoPayz service during the Campaign Period and who are any of the following:

(i) Malaysian citizens;

(ii) permanent residents; or

(iii) foreigners with valid passports and mailing addresses in Malaysia. (“Eligible Participants”)

b. Any existing GoPayz users who sign up for GoPayz service again with or without terminating the service before or during the Campaign Period are ineligible to participate in this Campaign.

c. Any consents, indemnities, agreement, undertakings, representations and warranties given under these Terms by participants who are below the age of 18 years old are deemed to have been given by their parents or guardians

d. U Mobile reserves the right to reject any application by any participant without assigning any reason.

4. Campaign Mechanics

To participate in this Campaign, Eligible Participants must complete the following during the Campaign Period:

a. download the GoPayz mobile application (“GoPayz App”); and

b. sign up for the GoPayz service by providing all relevant information as required; or

c. upgrade to the GoPayz premium wallet (“Premium Wallet”) successfully. 

5. Rewards

a. The following Eligible Participants who successfully fulfill the requirement of paragraph 4 above during the Campaign Period will be entitled to receive the following reward:

b. supporting documents and information for U Mobile’s verification. The verification process may take up to 2 business days for approval. U Mobile reserves the right to approve, reject or decline your application at our discretion without assigning any reasons whatsoever, and our decision will be final. Please refer to the Product Disclosure Sheet for more information on the Premium Wallet and U Mobile’s verification process which is published at https://www.gopayz.com.my/en/support/terms-and-conditions/product-disclosure-sheet-pds1.

c. The total rewards are capped at RM9,000 throughout the Campaign Period based on a first-come, first-serve basis.

d. The rewards will be credited only once per Eligible Participant during the Campaign Period.

e. The Campaign ceases once the rewards have been fully used or at the end of the Campaign Period, whichever comes first.

f. Eligible Participants and Eligible Telco Subscribers must ensure that their GoPayz accounts and Telco Account respectively are active at the point U Mobile credits the reward to the Eligible Participants’ GoPayz account. The GoPayz account is active if the Eligible Participant can perform transactions via that GoPayz account.

g. U Mobile reserves the right to replace or substitute the rewards with any other prize of similar value at any time as determined by U Mobile.

h. The rewards are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash, credit or rebate in full or in part and any visuals of the rewards shown on the GoPayz page, advertisement and promotion materials are for photography and illustration purposes only.

6. General

a. U Mobile may change any of these Terms and may terminate, suspend this Campaign or extend the Campaign Period. Any such change will be announced on our website or social media. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Campaign.

b. By participating in the Campaign, all Eligible Participants: -

(i) consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Campaign;

(ii) consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and

(iii) grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation

c. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Campaign. All Eligible Participants and if they are below 18 years of age, their parents or guardians agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) or breach of any of these Terms; whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Campaign.

d. The subscription and use of GoPayz is subject to the GoPayz Service Agreement and where applicable, these Terms. In the event of any inconsistency, GoPayz Service Agreement will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.

e. The Campaign and these Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The Eligible Participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Campaign.
