Terms & Conditions

1. 

1.1.  You can choose to purchase GoInsure Travel Insurance plan (“GoInsure Travel”) underwritten by Chubb Insurance Malaysia Berhad (“Chubb”) via GoPayz website or GoPayz mobile application (“GoPayz”) using your GoPayz account (“GoPayz Account”).

1.2.  If you choose to buy GoInsure Travel using your GoPayz Account, you agree to these terms of use, the terms of the GoPayz Service Agreement, the GoPayz App and Web Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice which are made available at www.gopayz.com.my.

1.3. GoInsure Travel is subject to the terms of your agreement with Chubb and Chubb’s privacy policy which are made available on https://www.chubb.com/my-goinsure. U Mobile Services Sdn Bhd. Registration No. 200401034375 (672884-H) (“U Mobile Services”) makes no representations nor warranties on the GoInsure Travel.

2. Eligibility

GoInsure Travel is made available to GoPayz customers and GoPayz customers’ spouse and children only.

3. Registration and Usage

3.1.     You will need to:

a. register for GoInsure Travel by following the steps provided on GoPayz; and

b. select either one of the following payment methods to pay for your GoInsure Travel premium:

i. via your GoPayz Account where you must ensure that there is sufficient balance in your GoPayz Account for the premium chargeable; or

ii. via your debit or credit card linked to your GoPayz Account subject to the terms and conditions imposed by your card issuer. If you chose to pay your premium via your debit or credit card, you must ensure that:

- the premium chargeable does not exceed your credit card limit, for credit cards; or

- you have sufficient balance in your debit card account to remit the premium chargeable.

                    We make no representation nor warranties on the payment made via your debit or credit card.

3.2.    We may stop allowing you to purchase the GoInsure Travel using your GoPayz Account, for any reason whatsoever, with or without notice including if we suspect that there is fraudulent or unauthorized use or if our agreement with Chubb has been terminated or for any reason or for any operational reasons.

3.3.    You will not be able to purchase your GoInsure Travel if your GoPayz Account is terminated or suspended for any reason. Your existing GoInsure Travel will remain valid until the expiry date provided on your e-certificate. Refunds are not applicable once your GoPayz Account is terminated or suspended.

3.4.     GoInsure Travel is not under our control and we are not responsible for the underwriting, claim process and any dispute resolution under the GoInsure Travel. If you have any issues relating the following matters in relation to your GoInsure Travel, you may contact GoPayz Customer Careline at +6018-388 3388:

* purchasing; and

* premium payment.

3.5.    If you have any other issues not listed in paragraph 3.4 above, you are required to contact Chubb directly for assistance via phone call to+6 03 2058 3198 or e-mail: to goinsure.MY@chubb.com .

4. Charges and Payment
  

4.1.   We do not set the insurance premium payable for GoInsure Travel. The insurance premiums are determined by Chubb.

4.2.  When you purchase the GoInsure Travel via:

* GoPayz Account, the premium payable will be deducted from your GoPayz Account;

* your credit card linked to your GoPayz Account, the premium payable will be chargeable to you credit card; or

* your debit card linked to your GoPayz Account, the premium payable will be deducted from your debit card account.

4.3  You will be able to purchase the GoInsure Travel as long as you have sufficient balance in your GoPayz Account or subject to the debit or credit card limit that has been linked to your GoPayz Account (if you elect to pay for your GoInsure Travel premium using your debit or credit card).

4.4   You are advised to take note of the premium due date as prescribed on your GoInsure Travel e-certificate and the termination option available at the time of your purchase of GoInsure Travel . You may terminate GoInsure Travel by giving Chubb prior written notice via email to goinsure.MY@chubb.com .

4.5    If you terminate your GoInsure Travel in accordance them with the terms and conditions of GoInsure Travel, any refund you are entitled to receive will be provided by Chubb to you via your GoPayz Account or debit/credit card depending on your GoInsure Travel premium payment method. U Mobile Services shall not be responsible for any refund provided by Chubb.

5. General

5.1  U Mobile Services may change any of these terms of use from time to time. Any such changes will be posted on GoPayz. It is your responsibility to check the terms of use.

5.2  By purchasing GoInsure Travel, you: -

a. consent for U Mobile Services to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose your personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to GoInsure Travel;

b. agreed that your personal information shall be used by Chubb for the purpose of processing GoInsure Travel application; and

c. acknowledge that our Privacy Notice at www.gopayz.com.my applies to how we use your personal information.

5.3  U Mobile Services does not own the copyright, trademarks, services marks or other marks of Chubb. These marks are owned and registered by their respective owners.

5.4   These terms of use are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from these terms of use.
