Terms & Conditions

1. This GoPayz #GongXiGongXiPoketHepi Social Contest (“Contest”) is organised by U Mobile Services Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No.: 200401034375 (672884-H))  (“U Mobile”), which commences at 9.00am on 13 January 2023 and ends at 11.59pm on 19 January 2023 (“Contest Period”).
   
   
2. All entries received after the Contest Period will be automatically disqualified.
   
   
3. By participating in this Contest, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).
   
   
4. Contest Eligibility
   1. a. This Contest is open to the following individuals aged 18 years and above who are:
      1. i. Malaysian citizens;
         
         
      2. ii. permanent residents; or
         
         
      3. iii. foreigners with a valid passport and mailing address in Malaysia.
          
   2. b. U Mobile’s employees, agents, contractors and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in this Contest.
      
      
   3. c. U Mobile reserves the right to reject any application by any participant without assigning any reason.
       
5. Contest Mechanics
   1. a. To participate in this Contest, you must complete the following steps during the Contest Period:

      1. i. follow GoPayz Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/GoPayzMY/ (“GoPayz Social Media Page”); 
         
      2.  
      3. ii. screenshot one of your favourite number posted by U Mobile via the GoPayz Social Media Page (“Post”) & tell us why you selected the number creatively with the inclusion of ‘8 or Eight’ in the comment section (“Comment”).

   3. b. You warrant and represent that:-
      1. i. Your Comment does not at any time infringe or violate any laws or any third party’s rights including but not limited to privacy rights, intellectual property rights, copyright, moral rights, trademarks, or business name;
         
         
      2. ii. Your Comment does not contain any unlawful, obscene, scandalous or inappropriate gesture, statement, language or material of any kind including but not limited to words or symbols that might be considered offensive to individuals of any race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or socioeconomic group, nor include threats to any person, place, business or group.
          
   4. c. You will defend, indemnify and keep U Mobile, its officers, directors and employees indemnified against all damages, claims or liabilities and expenses (including legal costs) arising out of your Comment.
      
      
   5. d. U Mobile may remove or disqualify any Comments it deems inappropriate at its sole discretion.
      
      
   6. e. When you complete the steps listed in paragraph 5 (a) above, you will be deemed to be a participant of the Contest. No entry form is required.
      
      
6. Rewards
   1. a. U Mobile will judge each entry based on its creative merit and shortlist 21 participants (“Shortlisted Participants”).
      
      
   2. b. U Mobile shall select from the Shortlisted Participants who provide their name, mobile number and e-mail address as the winner who will be entitled to receive the following rewards (“Rewards”):

   1. c. U Mobile will select a total of 21 winners for the Contest stated in paragraph 6(b).
      
      
   2. d. U Mobile will notify the winners of their entitlement to the Reward via GoPayz app push notification and GoPayz Facebook or in any manner U Mobile deems fit.
      
      
   3. e. Shortlisted Participants must ensure they download and sign up GoPayz and the GoPayz accounts are active at the point U Mobile credits the Reward. This means that you are able perform transactions via those GoPayz accounts.
      
      
   4. f. The Reward is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash, credit, or rebate in full or in part and any visuals of the Reward shown on GoPayz app, web or Facebook page, advertisement and promotion materials are for photography or illustration purposes only.
      
      
   5. g. U Mobile reserves the rights to replace or substitute the Reward with any other reward(s) of similar value as determined by U Mobile.
      
      
   6. h. You can participate in the Contest multiple times during the Contest Period, however,  you can only win the Reward once throughout the Contest Period.
      
      
   7. i. For assistance in relation to the Rewards, participants may email GoPayz customer care at customercare@gopayz.com.my or call +6018-388 3388.    
      
      
7. General
   1. a. U Mobile’s decisions on any matter relating to this Contest are final and binding on all participants. If any matters arise which are not covered in these Terms and Conditions, they will be determined solely by U Mobile.
      
      
   2. b. U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions and may terminate, suspend this Contest or extend the Contest Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website and if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Contest.
      
      
   3. c. By participating in the Contest, all participants: -
      1. i) consent for U Mobile to collect, record, hold, store, use and disclose their personal information for purposes which are necessary or related to the participation in the Contest;
         
         
      2. ii) consent for U Mobile to disclose or publish their personal information such as their names and identities and any general information that U Mobile sees fit about the participants in any media, marketing or advertising materials; and
         
         
      3. iii) grant U Mobile the absolute and unrestricted right to modify, use and publish any still or moving images of the participants for any promotional, marketing, commercial or other related purpose, without any payment or compensation.
          
   4. d. To the extent permitted by law, U Mobile excludes all liability in connection with this Contest. All participants agree to release U Mobile from and indemnify U Mobile against all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, for loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) or breach of any of these Terms and Conditions; whether direct or indirect, special or consequential arising out of participation in this Contest.
      
      
   5. e. The subscription and use of GoPayz is subject to the GoPayz Service Agreement and where applicable, these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency, GoPayz Service Agreement Terms and Conditions will apply to the extent of such inconsistency.
      
      
   6. f. The Contest and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The participants agree that the Courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over all matters arising from this Contest.
